Weekly Email 001

November 27, 2019

Hello! Happy Hump-Day!

This email represents something that has been on my list of things to do for a long time. You see, I frequently let too much time get between me and the people I want to keep in contact with.

If you will indulge me, I would love the opportunity to grace your inbox from time-to-time with a short list of ramblings and other things that are going on with me. I sincerely hope I don’t come across as a braggart, but rather providing you with equal parts entertainment, education, and just a break from the mundane of the mid-week.

So…without further fanfare, I give you the inaugural list:

What I watched this weekend –
American Experience: The Pligrims
because…well, Thanksgiving.

What I’m listening to –
My Grocery Store Romance playlist on Spotify.
All those GREAT songs that are always playing in the background of the frozen food section. Go listen it to and then email me back and thank me.

What I’m reading –
The Virtues of War by Steven Pressfield
A fictionalized account, from the point of view of Alexander the Great, about his conquests

An app that I am enjoying –
Elevate
If I’m going to stare at my phone, I might as well attempt to become to improve myself.

A quote I’m pondering –
“Fortune falls heavily on those who she’s unexpected. The one always on the lookout easily endures.”
~Seneca consoling his mother, Helvia

Winter in Colorado –
The view from my backyard this morning.

And last, but certainly not least, Happy Thanksgiving!

That is all.

Thanks.
